Our Goat’s Milk Melt and Pour base is made with 10% refrigerated liquid Vitamin D Goat’s Milk.
This soap creates a full, delicate and creamy lather that softens skin and moisturises.
Our soap base is not tested on animals, no detergents, no sulphates (SLS), no surfactant and no PEG’s. Our soap is biodegradable and odour free, contains no artificial colouring.
Coconut Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerine, Goats Milk, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), palm oil (sustainable and responsibly sourced RSPO approved) sorbitol (moisturiser), sorbitan oleate (emulsifier), soy bean protein (conditioner), titanium dioxide (mineral whitener).
Prepare your soap moulds with dried botanicals (if using, if not proceed to step 2).
Our Melt and Pour Soap base comes pre-cut, so all you have to do is melt the qty of soap needed. Ensure you melt the soap gradually, mix soap at intervals to ensure the soap base does not exceed 75°C. Do not boil or burn the soap base.
Once all soap has melted you can add your essentials oils to the liquid. Mix the oils around to ensure an even distribution of oils through your soap. You must ensure you work quickly as the setting temperature is around 55°C.
Working quickly, pour the soap in the prepared moulds.
Once you have poured the soap into the moulds, spray the back of the soaps with an alcohol base to reduce to amount of bubbles in the soap.
Once they have set, pop them out of the moulds and do not pack away for 24 hours.
Our dry ingredients are packaged into clear plastic bags. These bags are recycable through the REDcycle program. More information on the REDcycle program can be found here.
We have bought our plastic tubs back for the bulky items (2kg) and as a refill option (by purchasing just the 2kg option -no tub). These plastic tubs are made of PP plastic. The dry ingredients are still sent to you in the REDcycle plastic bag along with an empty tub. We can not send ingredients in the tubs, as due to them being so weighty the tubs crack in transit. So to avoid this they are sent as 2 seperate items.
