Magnesium Spray

Magnesium Spray

Topical magnesium spray is a great way to absorb magnesium through the skin, helping to relieve muscle tension, improve sleep and reduce stress. Here’s an easy, effective recipe you can make at home using natural ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup of magnesium chloride flakes
  • 1/2 cup of distilled water
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil (optional, for added moisture)
  • 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil (optional, for a calming scent)

Equipment:

  • Small saucepan
  • Measuring cup
  • Spoon
  • Spray bottle

Instructions:

  1. Heat the Water:

    • In a small saucepan, heat 1/2 cup of distilled water until warm but not boiling. This helps the magnesium flakes dissolve faster.
  2. Dissolve the Magnesium Flakes:

    • Remove the water from the heat and stir in 1/2 cup of magnesium flakes until fully dissolved. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
  3. Add Optional Ingredients:

    • For extra benefits, stir in 1 tablespoon of sweet almond oil to add moisture to the skin, and 5-10 drops of lavender essential oil for a calming, aromatic effect.
  4. Transfer to Spray Bottle:

    • Pour the cooled mixture into a spray bottle for easy application. Shake well before each use.
  5. How to Use:

    • Spray the magnesium solution directly onto your skin (arms, legs, feet or stomach). Gently rub in and allow it to absorb. It’s normal to feel a slight tingling sensation the first few times you use it.

Benefits:

  • Magnesium Flakes: Help to relieve muscle tension, improve relaxation, and support sleep.
  • Sweet Almond Oil: Adds moisture and nourishment to the skin.
  • Lavender Essential Oil: Provides calming and stress-relief benefits.
