Deodorised Mango Butter
Mango butter is a natural emollient, softening and soothing to the skin, with high oxidative ability, wound healing and regenerative properties due to being highly unsaponifiable. Our Deodorised Organic Mango Butter is manufactured by mechanical cold press, double filtered and deodorised by a super steaming system. Refined and rendered from the seed kernel of the mango tree, this highly prized butter is an exceptional quality base ingredient for skin and hair care products.
Mango butter nourishes skin to soothe rashes, eczema, and insect bites, providing skin with various fatty acids and helping to keep it soft and supple. Mango butter also helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and is particularly effective at treating rough skin. It even provides light protection against UV rays.
Very similar in texture to Cocoa and Shea butter, Mango butter has superior moisturising properties that make it an exotic and preferred alternative for body and hair care formulations.
Mango butter for cosmetic use is a fabulous treat for pampering one’s skin and hair, and a wonderfully rich ingredient for creams and lotions. While it can form the main ingredient in many body care and cosmetic recipes, it also makes a fine product in stand-alone applications.

Our Mango butter comes from Gumo – Kumbungu district in Tamale located in the Northern part of Ghana. We work with women co-operative groups for the processing of our organic and fair-trade.
