Fizzy Toilet Cleaner Tablet

Keep your toilet fresh the natural way with these easy fizzy toilet cleaner tablets. Made with simple ingredients, they help lift grime, reduce odours and leave your toilet bowl feeling fresh without the harsh chemicals found in conventional cleaners.

Fizzy Toilet Cleaner Tablets

Ingredients

• 1 cup Sodium Bicarbonate
• 3/4 cup Citric Acid
• 1 tbsp Cornflour
• 20 drops Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil
• 10 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
• Witch Hazel (in a fine mist spray bottle)

Method

1. Combine the sodium bicarbonate, citric acid and cornflour in a mixing bowl.
2. Add the essential oils and stir until evenly combined.
3. Lightly mist the mixture with witch hazel, mixing after each spray. Continue until the mixture resembles damp sand and holds together when squeezed. Avoid adding too much liquid as this will activate the fizzing reaction.
4. Firmly press the mixture into silicone moulds. *pro tip - only 3/4 fill the moulds as they will swell as they dry out.
5. Leave to dry for 24 to 48 hours.
6. Remove the tablets from the moulds and store them in an airtight glass jar.

How to Use

Drop one tablet into the toilet bowl and allow it to fizz for 10 to 15 minutes. Give the bowl a quick scrub with a toilet brush before flushing.

For stubborn stains or mineral build-up, leave the tablet overnight before scrubbing and flushing.

Avoid Using On

Do not place the tablets into the toilet cistern or any in-tank cleaning systems. These tablets are designed for cleaning the toilet bowl only.

Storage

Store the tablets in an airtight glass jar in a cool, dry place away from moisture. Properly stored, they will remain effective for up to 6 months. If they begin to lose their fizz, they can still be used as a gentle toilet cleaning powder.
