Calendula Oil is a natural oil extracted from Marigold Flowers.
Calendula oil is a common herbal oil remedy for treating skin conditions. No first aid kit should be with out this helpful medicine. It is best when processed with cold pressed oils like almond oil. Vitamin E is also often added to calendula oil to serve as a preservative and skin conditioner.
Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash
Swollen, inflamed tissue is the ideal place to apply the healing properties of calendula oil. Dry skin and eczema respond to calendula’s high triterpenoid content. Reducing inflammation is also key to reducing pain. Parents can rely on calendula oil to ease the pain and irritation of diaper rash.
Calendula Oil can be used for massage, moisturising, or adding to bath water, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.
This nourishing body oil is suitable for daily care, and is an excellent product for baby massage and for cleansing the nappy area. Calendula Baby Oil protects baby from skin-damaging environmental influences, leaving the skin feeling soft and supple.
