No chemicals used in production – simply harvested, sun-dried, milled and packaged. Ultra-fine Diatomaceous Earth, also known as Organic Fossil Shell Powder, is an approved DE, not to be confused with lower grades such as those used in pools. Also brilliant for the comfort of pets and farm animals and a very effective natural insecticide.
